A  Message from our Principal

Welcome to the Manchester Primary School website. I am certain that you will find the information about us that you are looking for on our bright informative website.

Set at the gateway to the Shire of Yarra Ranges, Manchester Primary is a warm caring school that strives continually for EXCELLENCE from all children and staff.  We are a learning community that uses enquiry skills and sound thinking to explore the world around us and to best prepare ourselves for a dynamic and exciting future.

We offer a broad curriculum built on rigorous achievement in basic Literacy and Numeracy  but which also extends children in exciting ways through the use of state of the art technologies and thinking tools.  Our highly successful Developmental Curriculum is creating unprecedented student engagement throughout the school.  The excellence of our reputation is built largely on the quality of the relationships we have built around us.   Respect is the fundamental value on which we build our relationships and it is this which allows students to feel safe and cared for at school and gives their learning relevance.

I hope you enjoy travelling through this view of our school as we continually update the website.
